I've gone soft
I haven’t been out of the house all day, even to eat, because it snowed outside. The weather is otherwise fine, but having gone practically an entire winter without snow this year, I appear to have lost my ability to deal with it.
Seriously, what has been up with the seasons? It feels wrong. Like, because we didn’t get pounded in the ass by Old Man Winter this year, we haven’t...

Oooooooooooooh!
Okay, I was wondering why it said Avengers Assemble at the end of the version I watched, instead of just The Avengers. Apparently that’s what they’re calling the movie in the UK to avoid confusion with that other, more British set of Avengers.
I can kind of see why they’d be worried about that. When I first told my mom that they were making an Avengers movie she asked...

unexpected
I just got an e-mail from my sister, completely out of the blue, telling me that I’m smart and not useless and offering emotional and financial support.
She’s a really great person.

now I'm hungry
My absentee roommate came by a few hours ago while I was sleeping and dropped off a few things, including a calzone that’s now sitting on her bed. It smells amazing, but it’s kind of bugging me that she hasn’t come back to pick it up yet. If it’s not gone my midnight, I’m eating it.

I was standing at the bus stop this morning when a little old woman stopped and told me, “There’s no bus.”
“What?” said I.
“No bus,” she repeated. “Would you like a lift?”
Her name is Sheila. Her husband’s name is Brian and she chattered incessantly for the entire journey. We are now bffs.
When I relayed this tale to Ana she expressed surprise that I had not yet been ‘kidnapped and...

Sherlock thoughts
Sometimes I wonder how John and Sherlock, upon learning that they were one of multiple versions of the same character, would react to some of the other versions.
(Once they had gotten over the existential shock of the situation, of course. Because, how weird would it be to find out, not only that you’re fictional, but that you’re an adaptation as well? Like, in the source material of...

Behind the Scenes: Star Trek 2, feat. Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto’s fight scenes.
Piss on me oh my god
I don’t know what to do with myself.
So that’s where the gifs were from! I thought the swirly coat was leather, but it appears to be a thinner, lamé sort of thing.
For the sake...

x-men help
I need to watch/rewatch all of the films in the x-men franchise, but I only own XMFC and all of my megaupload links are dead. Anyone want to drop me some links in my askbox?

When did I become this person who needs to sleep every night?
Routine body maintenance, why are you so inconvenient?

GDI
I just realized that First Class retroactively makes X-3 even worse.
Because, seriously Charles, you didn’t learn from the first time it happened that forcing women to suppress their true natures just ends up turning them into resentful supervillains?
